Chris and Ursula Aiken 09/26/2020
It was a beautiful day in Harleysville SC when Chris and Ursula had their wedding. The date was the 26th of September and the day was beautiful. Chris and Ursula’s wedding took place in Thunder Guard 18 Club House and the atmosphere was relaxing and amazing.
Considering the fact that they met at an annual Thunder Guard Oyster Roast in December of 2016, this was a nice touch. Chris is a Thunder Guard so that was why they choose this venue. Their reception also happened there and I was honored to be their wedding photographer.
- The Wedding Day
When the day started, we were a bit skeptical because of the rain. It had rained all day during their rehearsal and we did not want a repeat. The day turned out to be okay and we’re happy for that. It was an exciting and liberating day.
The couple choose red, ivory and grey as their wedding colors. Ursula loves the way those colors calibrate together. Everyone was dressed formally and they all had a great time.
Ursula looked gorgeous as her father walked her down the aisle. In a beautiful twist, it was her son singing the song she walked down the aisle to. This made the moment very special. The different generations of people were a lovely touch.
- The Reception
The first dance that Chris and Ursula had was an amazing, memorable one. It was very special to the couple and it made Ursula’s day. Ursula also loved the hand sketch of them made by Curtis Bolden. Curtis is a Thunder Guard from Youngtown Ohio. This couple’s reception was fun and everyone had the time of their lives.
- How I did At Chris and Ursula’s Wedding
I loved the opportunity to work with this wonderful couple. They found me through Ursula’s cousin and I am thankful for the referral. Being able to capture their beautiful wedding and meet them was such a pleasure. I even got some lovely advice from them. They encouraged me to live, laugh and always put God first and everything will fall into place. This advice is so perfect.
I also love the unity that was present between the vendors at this wedding. We were all one family as we pulled together and threw this awesome wedding. The couple’s family also helped.
Thank you for the opportunity to capture the special moments at your wedding Chris and Ursula. I wish you the best of luck in your new life and many years of happiness.
